美国发布自愿标注转基因原料使用情况管理规定

 

    本次规定明确指出：执法人员无需对所标示的转基因使用情况进行确认。尽管如此，FSIS要求相关企业在自愿标示转基因原料使用情况时，遵循第3方机构规定的标准程序。

 

    此外，FSIS还提供下列3种标示声称范例供参考：1.单一原料不含转基因原料。2.多种原料不含转基因原料。3有机标示加“饲养过程中使用不含转基因饲料的植物原料”。

    This notice informs inspection program personnel （IPP） that meat and poultry products establishments   or egg product plants may make claims on the label, or in the labeling of a meat, poultry, or egg product concerning the fact that bioengineered ingredients or genetically modified （GM） ingredients were not used in that particular product. IPP do not have any new verification activities related to this change.
