食品伙伴网导读:2009年3月17日,英国Morrison超市宣布召回蔬菜咖喱产品,原因是该产品中含有麦麸、芹菜以及芥末而未在其标签中标注。
原文报道:Wm Morrison Supermarkets has recalled all its cans of own-brand Chunky Vegetable Curry (410g), because the product contains wheat gluten, celery and mustard, which are not mentioned on the label. Therefore, this product is a possible risk to people who are allergic or intolerant to gluten, celery or mustard.
The Agency has issued an allergy alert advising anyone with an allergy or intolerance to gluten (wheat), celery or mustard not to eat this product.
Product detailsThe product being recalled is:
Morrisons Chunky Vegetable Curry (canned), 410g
All date codes
The company has recalled the affected product and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members of the recall. Notices are being displayed in Morrisons stores, explaining to consumers the reason for the recall. Anyone who has bought the product can return it for a full refund.
No other Morrisons products are known to be affected.
Allergy alertSometimes there will be a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold. Then it might be 'withdrawn' (taken off the shelves) or 'recalled' (when customers are asked to return the product). Sometimes foods have to be withdrawn or recalled if there is a risk to consumers because the allergy labelling is missing or incorrect or if there is any other food allergy risk.
In such situations the Agency will issue an Allergy Alert. It is also possible to subscribe to an email alert system to receive automatic messages whenever Allergy Alerts are issued. Click on 'Get alerts' in the box at the bottom of this page to find more details.
You can get details of all the latest allergy alerts as soon as they're issued by getting the details sent as a SMS text message direct to your mobile phone.
