新西兰就麦卢卡蜂蜜的定义与出口要求征求意见

 

    新西兰初级产业部表示，麦卢卡蜂蜜应为蜜蜂采集的麦卢卡植物的花蜜。麦卢卡蜂蜜的检测方法有两种，化学检测（4种化学物质）与DNA标记。

 

    这对保持新西兰麦卢卡蜂蜜在海外市场的重要地位至关重要。新西兰将于2017年7月底正式实施新要求。

    New Zealand mānuka honey is produced by bees collecting nectar from the mānuka plant （Leptospermum scoparium）。

 

    Mānuka plants can be found growing throughout New Zealand.The Ministry for Primary Industries （MPI） has developed a robust and sophisticated scientific definition that can be used to authenticate whether or not a particular honey is New Zealand mānuka honey. The science definition is essential to maintain New Zealand's premium position in overseas markets and for the continued growth of our export honey industry.
