欧盟就甲酸钙作为动物饲料添加剂的安全性与效能发布意见

    食品伙伴网讯   据欧盟食品安全局（EFSA）消息，11月18日欧盟食品安全局就甲酸钙作为动物饲料添加剂的安全性与效能发布了意见。

    目前欧盟已批准甲酸钙作为防腐剂用于动物饲料，然而并未获准为食品添加剂。有关文献资料证实，甲酸钙按照最大使用量（15000 mg甲酸钙/kg成品饲料或10000mg甲酸/kg 成品饲料）用于育肥鸡与育肥牛时，不会对动物健康产生影响。

    This opinion concerns the re-evaluation of calcium formate for use as a preservative in feed for all animal species and categories. Calcium formate is currently authorised for use as a preservative in feed for all animal species, but is not authorised as a food additive in the EU. Considering the results of the tolerance studies with chickens for fattening and cattle for fattening, and other published studies, no adverse effects on target animals safety are anticipated when calcium formate is used at the maximum proposed dose in feed for pigs, poultry, fish and ruminants （15 000 mg calcium formate/kg complete feed, equivalent to 10 000 mg formic acid/kg complete feed）。 However, no margin of safety can be established.
